All the students appearing for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 board exams in 2019, we have good news for you. The board is likely to give two options in the Mathematics paper to the students. The students will be able to select the type of test paper they want to answer. It could be a standard-level or a higher-level mathematics question paper. The choice will have to be made when forms for the exam are filled up later this year, the officials said. In May 2018, a report was released by the HT which had claimed that the CBSE was considering two sets of question papers for the mathematics exam.

National Council of Educational Research and Training

The Government of India's Ministry of Educationresolved on 27 July 1961 to establish the National Council of Educational Research and Training, which formally began operation on 1 September 1961. The Council was formed by merging seven existing national government institutions, namely the Central Institute of Education, the Central Bureau of Textbook Research, the Central Bureau of Educational and Vocational Guidance, the Directorate of Extension Programmes for Secondary Education, the National Institute of Basic Education, the National Fundamental Education Centre, and the National Institute of Audio-Visual Education.it is separate from the National Council for Teacher Education.

The NCERT was established with the agenda to design and support a common system of education which is national in character and also enables and encourages the diverse culture across the country. Based on the recommendations of the Education Commission(1964-66), the first national policy statement on education was issued in 1968. The policy endorsed the adoption of a uniform pattern of school education across country consisting of 10 years of general education program followed by 2 years of diversified schooling.

 development oriented programme derives much of its strength from inherent legislative directives framed in the form of a policy. The education sector in Gujarat perhaps has not been shining to its potential due to the lack of a concerted policy direction. Much of the current system of education derives itself from the National Policy on Education, 1976. Though the constitution clearly mandates education as both a centre and state subject, there have been limited efforts in the state of Gujarat on framing a focused education policy to enable holistic development of education.

Gujarat ranks 9th on the Education Development Index (EDI); Planning and prepared by the National University of Educational Administration (NUEPA) , this index measures the performance of states on the Universalization of Elementary Education programme.

Though it is a significant leap from its 14th position not very long ago, it still points to a compelling need for making intensive efforts to bring about a change in the status of education in the state.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) was created and given the task of developing and issuing the Aadhar Card. The agency was established by the Government of India in January 2009 and it operates under the central government. The purpose of Unique Identification Authority of India is to collect the biometric as well as the demographic details of every resident in India.

After the data is collected, it is stored in a centralized database system called the UID Database. The main data centre of the Unique Identification Authority of India where the data storage of Aadhaar takes place is situated at the Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Manesar, Haryana.The UIDAI then simultaneously issues the 12 digit unique identification number or the UID to the Indian resident, also known as Aadhaar card in India. The State Education department on Saturday announced Navratri holidays for the first time in schools. The government had announced Navratri holidays last month for only colleges and universities.

State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said, “It has been our experience that during Navratri, the attendance is reported to be very low. So, it was decided that instead of forcing students to come to schools and colleges after playing Garba till wee hours, they should be allowed to take offs.”

Principal Secretary, Education, Anju Sharma said, “Since a common academic calendar was already introduced in colleges and universities in June, it was decided to follow the uniformity and implement the same for schools as well.”

This year, schools, colleges and universities will get Navratri vacation of seven days from October 15 till 21 (including Dussehra).

The government, on the other hand, has reduced Diwali holidays to two weeks from three weeks. Students will get Diwali vacation from November 5 till 18 this year.

“After we introduced Navratri vacation for colleges, there was a similar demand from parents of school students to shut schools during Navratri, which is one of the biggest festivals of Gujarat. So, we decided to accept it,” added Sharma.

Outstation students in colleges had said that they would get fewer number of days to stay at home during Diwali vacation as it was now reduced to two weeks.

But, number of such students is very marginal. So, it did not impact the government’s decision.

The government clarified that the decision will not be binding on schools affiliated to CBSE, ICSE and other boards schools or educational institutions not affiliated to the Gujarat government.
Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, the state education minister, said the vacation was declared to ensure that the youth can enjoy the dance festival which has religious and cultural significance. “The Navratri vacation at schools will be between October 10 and October 17, including the Sunday on October 14. It will be followed by the Dussehra holiday on October 18.”

The Navratri vacation will not adversely impact exam schedul ..

North East Monsoon:
Once the south west monsoon season nears it end, the land mass becomes cooler than the southern ocean part. Hence high pressure winds from northern range start flowing towards the Indian ocean, basically a reversal of South West Monsoon and hence the name. While coming down the eastern part of the winds flowing over Bay of Bengal picks moisture from the sea which is blocked by the Eastern Ghats giving rainfall to the east coast of the peninsula. Particularly Chennai and Tamil Nadu receives around 40-50% of their rainfall from this monsoon.
Monsoons account for nearly 90% of the rainfall in India and they heavily influence agriculture in the subcontinent.

Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+

Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.

BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. BLO provides those different forms for addition, deletion and correction of Electoral Roll entries, carries out physical verification, and gives his/her report to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) .The BLO interacts with local people/ political parties’ representatives and identifies dead/shifted/duplicate voters to be removed from the electoral roll after due process of law. Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training (GCERT) is a pivotal institution at the state level for the enhancement of qualitative education at primary and secondary schools.

 Itwas "State Institute of Education" before 1988. It was later upgraded as a SCERT in 1988, under the resolution of State Education Department. The government is happy to inform employees that central government employees can travel to Jammu and Kashmir, the Northeast, and the Andaman Islands of Nicobar by taking advantage of the space travel (LTC) for two more years till September 2020. The official order states that when the employees take advantage of the LTC scheme, they are given compensation for the ticket amount as well.

In 2014 the LTC rules were given exemption
In September 2014, the LTC rules allowed government employees to travel through the North Eastern Region, Jammu and Kashmir and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Similarly, in 2016, employees were given the benefit of the scheme till September 25, 2018. Union Minister KJ Alphonse wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that allows central government employees to go to Kerala under the LTC scheme's benefit.

Union minister and Modi has written a letter asking permission to go to Kerala. Kerala is a severe suffering state. The tourism department will be benefited if the government employees go to Alteasi. Currently, government officials of the Central Government are allowed to travel in places of Jammu, Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Kerala's tourism industry will benefit if 48.41 lakh government employees and Kerala travel. There has been a letter written in this regard and there is full potential to get approval. Government employees at the Gulf will also benefit from going to Kerala.

Unemployment in the country is a big problem. The government is making all efforts to reduce it but there is no success. It's also hard to get a loan if it's a loan. Apart from the guarantee for a loan, many documents are needed. The government has introduced a number of loan schemes to start a small business. Today we will talk about the plans that will help the unemployed youth get financial support.

Under this scheme loans to the unemployed youth are given to the government. In this scheme, the youth can start their own business. These loans are given to those who have studied till standard 8. They can get loans up to Rs 5 lakh for establishment of a business. The beneficiary's income should not be more than one lakh per year with the income of his parents for taking this loan.

This scheme is not available in all states. The Tamil Nadu government gives benefit to the unemployed youth in the Nifty scheme. Under which the state government is subsidized by 25% of the loan amount. Under the NEEDS scheme, the state government provides 25% subsidy to unemployed youth to any loan.

NEED scheme is also given by the state government. This loan is given to unemployed youth who want to start a new business by the West Bengal government. Under this scheme an unemployed person can apply for a loan of Rs. 50,000. For which unemployed youth should be 18-45 years old.

This loan is a very useful scheme for those who are unemployed in the field of agriculture. Unemployed youth who are graduates of 22 years of age or older can apply for this loan.

The loan holder may be able to keep some of the properties for this loan. Its loan amount depends on the value of its property.
